A year ago, Russian climber Natalia Nagovitsina was not allowed to climb Victory Peak in Kyrgyzstan. This was announced on August 28 by Belarusian mountaineer Artyom Tsentsevitsky.

"We agreed that if she manages to move at the speed of the other participants, who were a little more experienced and stronger, then we will continue climbing. If not <...>, then she will have to turn around in a place where, strictly speaking, it is safe, where she can turn around at any moment," he told RIA Novosti.
