The death toll from the collapse of a residential building in the city of Vasai Virar in the state of Maharashtra in western India has risen to 15 people, three more bodies were found overnight. This was reported by the PTI news agency on August 28, citing officials.
"The unauthorized four—storey Ramabai residential complex, which housed about 50 apartments, collapsed onto a neighboring empty apartment building," the newspaper said.
It is noted that the collapse occurred on August 27 at 12:05 local time (09:05 Moscow time).
In July, the cornice of an apartment building collapsed in the center of Tbilisi. According to the Interior Ministry, one person was killed and one injured in the incident.
