Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations found four mushroom pickers missing on Sakhalin

Rescuers have found mushroom pickers who disappeared on Sakhalin while harvesting wild plants. This was announced on August 28 by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

"Four residents of Sakhalin, including a 15-year-old teenager, were found in the Gulki River area. They got lost while picking wild plants," the press service said in a Telegram channel.

It is specified that 25 specialists and six pieces of equipment were involved in the search operation. The group that operated on the ground surveyed 12 km. In addition, the Mi-8 helicopter helped in the search.

At the moment, all the mushroom pickers found are safe, rescuers are taking them out of the forest.

On August 26, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that on Sakhalin, emergency workers and volunteers were searching for four people who had gone into the forest to collect wild plants.
