A resident of the Belgorod region was injured in the explosion of an APU drone
A resident of the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka in the Shebekinsky district of the Belgorod region was injured when a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) exploded in the courtyard of his house. This was announced on Wednesday, August 27, by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.
"The man suffered a mine explosion injury and shrapnel wounds to his back and legs. He was taken to the Shebekinsky CRH, where the victim is receiving the necessary medical care," Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel.
In addition, the village of Murom came under fire. Three private houses were damaged there: windows were blown out, roofs and facades were cut off, and two outbuildings were destroyed. The power line was also disrupted.
In the village of Mokraya Orlovka, Grayvoronsky district, a drone damaged the veranda and fence of one house, as well as the facade of another. In the village of Chapaevsky, a drone detonated between two houses, damaging fences and outbuildings.
On the same day, Gladkov reported that as a result of an attack by an APU drone on the Valuysky district of the Belgorod region, one person was killed and another was injured. It was noted that the injured driver independently applied to the Valuisk Central District Hospital (CRH), where he was diagnosed with a mine-explosion injury and a laceration to his right hand.
