Roscosmos denied Maltsev's resignation from the post of CEO of RSC Energia

Igor Maltsev, CEO of the Rocket and Space Corporation (RSC) Energia, is not going to leave his post. On August 27, Izvestia was informed about this by the press service of the Roscosmos state corporation.

"Maltsev is fulfilling his work duties, contrary to the widespread fakes, he did not write a letter of resignation and is not going to leave his post. Together with the company's team, he is working on the accumulated difficulties inherited from the previous management," the company said.

Roscosmos clarified that the Energia team is rhythmically fulfilling its commitment to create Soyuz and Progress spacecraft as part of its current activities, as well as promising developments for a new spacecraft and the ROS station.

Earlier, the media reported that RSC Energia was allegedly preparing to sell to a private individual, and the CEO resigned.

Earlier, on April 21, Roscosmos appointed Denis Deniskin to the post of General Director of the Khrunichev Space Center. Accordingly, ex-CEO Alexey Vorochko was relieved of this post.
