17 people were hospitalized with poisoning in the Syunik region of Armenia. This was reported on August 27 by Sputnik Armenia with reference to the Food Safety Inspection Body of the state.
It is specified that the inspection received a signal about 17 people with gastrointestinal disorders who were admitted to the Goris hospital on August 26. The preliminary diagnosis is acute food poisoning.
"As a result of the operational actions, it turned out that people became ill during a feast in an outdoor pavilion," the publication says.
The inspectors took samples of products, including meat, sausages, fruits and vegetables. They were sent for examination.
On August 25, it was reported that 30 people had food poisoning at a recreation center in Dagestan. 20 people, including 15 children, were taken to the Derbent Infectious Diseases Hospital. A criminal case was opened into the incident under Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Production, storage, transportation or sale of goods and products, performance of works or provision of services that do not meet safety requirements").
