The Russian Academy of Sciences reported a continuous solar flare lasting several days.

There is one continuous flash in the Sun for several days. This was announced on August 27 by the press service of the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the IKI RAS.

"In addition, the background X—ray radiation of the Sun has been exceeding the flare level C for several days, that is, in a sense, one continuous flare has been going on in the Sun all these days," the laboratory wrote in the Telegram channel.

It is noted that the forecast of solar activity in the near future remains uncertain due to the receipt of conflicting signals.

Earlier, on August 25, the most powerful solar flare was recorded since June 20 this year. According to scientists, such an event occurred due to a sharp increase in solar activity, which is associated with the appearance of several large active centers on the visible side of the solar disk.
