On August 27, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov refused to comment on statements by Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko about discussing a possible attack by the Oreshnik missile system on the center of Kiev.

"Alexander Grigoryevich [Lukashenko] would have left the statements without comment," Peskov said during a briefing.
