Two people died in an accident in Sergiev Posad, Moscow region.

Two people were killed and two more were hospitalized as a result of an accident in the Sergiev Posad city district of the Moscow region. This was announced on August 27 by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.

"Today, at about 00:30, a traffic accident occurred near one of the houses located on Ilyinskaya Street. <...> The driver and passenger, born in 1997, died on the spot. Two passengers born in 2002 and 2003 were hospitalized," the department's Telegram channel says.

According to preliminary information, a driver born in 1995, driving a Toyota car without a driver's license, ran over a city lighting mast. As a result, the car overturned.

Traffic police officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.

The day before, it was reported that one person was killed in a bus accident in Novosibirsk. According to the regional State Traffic Inspectorate, the bus driver ran over parked Toyota Mark, Chery Tiggo, Volkswagen Polo cars. The man died on the spot. There were 10 passengers on the bus, they were not injured.
