In the Tuguro-Chumikansky district of the Khabarovsk Territory, rescue services are searching for a man who was swept away by the current to the Sea of Okhotsk while crossing the Rear River by truck. This was announced on August 27 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"The other day, three men were driving a truck across the mouth of the Tyl River. The water level rose sharply and the engine stopped. Two were able to escape on their own, a 38-year-old man on a barrel of fuel and lubricants. — Ed.) was swept away by the current to the Sea of Okhotsk," the agency said in a Telegram channel message.

It is noted that rescue services and local residents have already surveyed 25 square meters. m of the area along the river mouth and the coastal zone of the sea, the search continues.

Currently, an Mi-8 helicopter from Magadan has taken off to search for the missing man. 33 people are working at the scene of the incident, as well as six pieces of equipment.

On August 25, in the Magadan region, three tourists on rubber boats were evacuated by specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations from the Bakhapchi River after one of the oars was damaged during rafting. At the same time, the tourists did not need medical assistance.
