The Slovak parliament assessed the possible response to Kiev's attacks on Druzhba
Slovakia's obligations to the European Union (EU) are stopping it from responding to Ukraine's attacks on the Druzhba oil pipeline, Marian Carey, head of the National Council for International Affairs Committee, told Izvestia.
"If I had made a decision, I would have stopped the supply of electricity. But the problem is that there is an instruction from the European Union on the need to provide assistance to Ukraine," he said.
Earlier, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said that Ukraine could not attack the Druzhba oil pipeline without coordination with the leaders of the European Union and the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.
