An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was eliminated in the Nizhny Novgorod region The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) above the industrial area. This was announced by Governor Gleb Nikitin on August 26.

"This morning, an attack by an enemy UAV was repelled over the territory of an industrial zone in the Nizhny Novgorod region," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Nikitin added that, according to preliminary data, no one was injured in the attack. Specialists are working at the crash site of the drone, the governor said.

Earlier in the day, the governor of the Ryazan region, Pavel Malkov, reported that the roof was damaged as a result of the fall of debris from a Ukrainian drone into the courtyard of a private house. He added that six UAVs were shot down overnight over the territory of the region. No injuries were reported.
