The Czech Foreign Minister called for a ban on the movement of Russian diplomats in the Schengen area

Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky said on August 26 that Russian diplomats should be restricted in their free movement in the Schengen area.

"Like [ancient Roman politician Marcus Porcius] Cato the Elder tirelessly repeated that Carthage must be destroyed, and I will propose putting an end to the free movement of Russian diplomats in the Schengen area," Lipavsky said in an interview with Politico.

EU foreign ministers will meet at an informal summit at the end of this week, where they are scheduled to discuss with the head of the European Diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, the issue of tightening economic restrictions on Russia.
