In Kiev, Polish President Karol Nawrocki was warned about retaliatory measures if the Sejm passes a law banning Bandera's red and black symbols. This was reported on August 25 by the Ukrainian newspaper European Truth, citing a source in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

"We are analyzing the legal dimension of the decisions taken and their possible impact on the situation of Ukrainian citizens in Poland," the newspaper quoted the source as saying.
