The second crossover of the Russian brand Tenet began to be produced in Kaluga

Full-cycle production of the new Tenet brand model, the compact crossover T4, has started at the AGR Holding plant in Kaluga. This is the second model of the brand that entered the assembly line of the company (the former Volkswagen plant) after the launch of the T7 crossover, the company's press service reported on August 25.

The company shared one photo of the Tenet T4 crossover. Details about the equipment, equipment and prices have not yet been disclosed. It is known that the car is based on one of the models of the Chery concern.

Representatives of AGR Holding noted that Tenet brand cars are created taking into account Russian operating conditions. To protect the body from external influences, the bottom and hidden cavities undergo additional wax treatment. An increased layer of anti-corrosion materials is applied to the bottom, including anti-gravity and anti-noise protection.

For full-cycle production, the company's welding and paint shops have been modernized, key assembly line components have been adapted, and quality control systems have been updated.

Test drive of the seven-seat Tenet T8 crossover

Earlier, on August 21, representatives of Tenet Rus shared with Izvestia details about equipping the Tenet T8 three-row crossover, which will also be put on the assembly line at the AGR Holding plant in the Kaluga Region. The all-wheel drive seven-seat T8 will enter the Russian market in two trim levels. The Tenet brand was created specifically for the Russian market.
