Electrical problems due to malfunctions with the water supply in the toilets on board the Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner passenger aircraft could have caused the ship to crash. This was reported on August 25 by the Mirror newspaper, citing lawyer Mike Andrews, who represents the interests of the families of the victims of the disaster.

"However, Mr. Andrews stated that there is insufficient evidence to suggest that pilot error was the cause of the crash. Instead, he stated that the drinking water supply system in the toilet was malfunctioning," the publication says.
