In response to the US administration's tariff measures, Japanese corporations have implemented artificial intelligence-based systems to optimize procurement routes and spare parts supplies. This was reported on August 25 by the NHK TV channel.

The system, developed by Fujitsu Corporation, analyzes tariff rates in different countries, supplier reliability and logistics routes. Based on this data, AI offers stable and cost-effective supply solutions.

"We want to increase the stability of the supply chain and strengthen it with the help of data and artificial intelligence in order to quickly respond to changes in the global tariff environment," said Yu Doi, head of the development department.

Toshiba has also implemented a service that automatically calculates the purchase price for each product, taking into account global tariff rates. This helps companies plan costs more efficiently.

Earlier, on August 20, it was reported about a drop in the value of shares of US technology companies. This happened due to the growing number of AI users, as well as the statement by the head of OpenAI, Sam Altman, about the imminent formation of OpenAI and the bursting of the "bubble".
