Rospotrebnadzor received 14 complaints about tour operators over the summer.

Since June 2025, Rospotrebnadzor and its territorial authorities have received 14 complaints against tour operators, the agency told Izvestia.

"They are related to the refusal to refund funds for the tour (including for a tour to the UAE) due to the consumer's illness, the refusal to reimburse losses due to the provision of services of inadequate quality, as well as the refusal to reimburse related expenses," they noted.

As indicated in Rospotrebnadzor, the responsibility for non-provision or improper provision of services included in the package to the consumer lies entirely with the tour operator. And regardless of who was supposed to provide or provided these services.

The consumer has the right to expect a reduction in the price of the service provided, reimbursement of expenses incurred by him, for example, expenses for accommodation, meals and forced transfer, as well as compensation for moral damage, the department recalled.
