Drone operators destroyed a group of UAF hexacopters in their area

An attempt to attack hexacopters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Zaporozhye area of the special operation was thwarted by operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Russian Army. The Russian Defense Ministry showed footage of Russian military personnel working on Sunday, August 24.

The UAV counteraction units of the 35th army of the Vostok group of forces resisted during a night attack by enemy hexacopters. The approach of enemy targets was detected in time, and drone operators were assigned to eliminate the targets. The drones took to the air and destroyed all the vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a short time.

Earlier, on August 23, the Russian Defense Ministry told how the operator of a reconnaissance UAV of the 299th Airborne Regiment of the Ivanovo Guards Airborne Unit of the Southern Group of Forces hit a Ukrainian drone of the Baba Yaga type with a battering ram, which was preparing to drop mines on Russian fighters.

Prior to that, on August 22, the calculations of the FPV drones of the Rubicon Advanced Unmanned Technology Testing Center destroyed the T-72 tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the special operation zone. The ministry clarified that Russian intelligence had discovered a Ukrainian tank in a wooded area near the village of Torskoye in the Rubtsovsky direction. The coordinates of the target were transferred to the combat crews of the Rubicon center.
