Police found blogger Arsen Markarian, who was detained on suspicion of insulting the memory of defenders of the Fatherland, in the trunk of a car that was stopped near Kubinka in the Moscow region. This was reported on August 23 in the Telegram channel "MIA Media".

As a result of operational search measures, law enforcement agencies managed to identify the car in which the attacker was traveling. The orientation points were shared with all the outdoor police services.

Earlier, on March 16, it was reported that a pre-investigation check had been launched against the blogger after his statements calling for terrorism. Markarian stated that attacks on Russian facilities and civilians should be carried out using drones.
