The Ministry of Justice has added political scientist Sergei Markov to the list of foreign agents. This follows from the updated list of the Ministry of Justice, published on the agency's website on August 22.

Sergey Markov, as indicated in the press release, participated as a respondent on information platforms provided by foreign media and a foreign agent, disseminated false information about the decisions of government authorities and their policies, participated in the dissemination of messages and materials from organizations whose activities are considered undesirable in the territory of the Russian Federation.
