A paraglider died while flying in the Leningrad region.
A paraglider pilot died while flying in the Vsevolozhsky district of the Leningrad region. This was reported on August 22 in the Telegram channel of the North-Western Transport Prosecutor's Office.
"According to preliminary data, on the evening of August 21, 2025, while performing a private flight in the Vsevolozhsky district, a paraglider suffered fatal injuries," the press service said.
The Transport Prosecutor's Office is currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
On April 26, a resident of Perm crashed in the Chegem gorge of the Caucasus Range in Kabardino-Balkaria during a paragliding flight. It was clarified that the man made a hard landing in the upper reaches of the gorge.
