The Russian flag has become a symbol of the restoration of historical truth for the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR). This was announced on August 22 by the head of the region Leonid Pasechnik.

"For our region, the Russian flag has become a symbol of freedom and restoration of historical truth. We are sincerely proud of our great and powerful country, multinational people, faith and traditions," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to the head of the LPR, the Russian flag unites all citizens of the country. The beekeeper noted that the younger generation of the republic attaches great importance to the holiday, and patriotic actions and flash mobs are held on the initiative of the children.

"Congratulations to everyone on the Day of the National Flag of the Russian Federation!" he concluded.
