In Buryatia, within the framework of the international Russian-Mongolian interspecific exercise Selenga-2025, the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Mongolia have begun to master modern methods and methods of warfare. This was announced on August 21 by the press service of the Eastern Military District.

Classes are held at the Burduny combined arms range, which belongs to the Eastern Military District. Control over the correctness of students' actions is carried out by experienced instructors participating in a special military operation, who, if necessary, promptly adjust the learning process.

"This is my first time taking part in an exercise. I'm learning a lot of new things here. For example, how to work properly in a trench as part of a small group and what you need to have with you from the equipment when performing a task. The instructors who train us have combat experience. During the training, it felt like I was in a real combat situation," said Ensign O. Bat-Od, a soldier of the Armed Forces of Mongolia.

The footage shows how, as part of the exercises, military personnel practice assault operations in trenches and buildings, master the control of quadcopter-type unmanned aerial vehicles, and also train in providing assistance to the conditionally wounded and their evacuation to safe zones. In addition, they are trained in the proper selection of equipment, weapons and medical supplies for various tasks.

It is noted that the exercises involve assault and army aircraft, operators of unmanned aerial vehicles, artillery crews, tank crews, mobile groups on buggies and motorcycles, as well as special forces units of both sides.

On August 19, the Caspian Flotilla of the Russian Navy launched a bilateral tactical training exercise with the development of tasks for the purpose in the offshore combat training grounds of the Caspian Sea. At the first stage of the ZTU, the crews of the ships carried out emergency preparations for combat and left the base for the dispersal areas.
