The nuclear industry has become the epitome of Russia's technological might. This was announced on August 20 by Russian President Vladimir Putin in his congratulations on the 80th anniversary of the nuclear industry in the Russian Federation.

"Today, the nuclear industry rightfully embodies Russia's technological might. The staff of the Rosatom State Corporation preserves and enhances the creative traditions of its predecessors," the head of state said in an address posted on the Kremlin's website.
