One person was killed and one injured when drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit the Bryansk region.

As a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) using FPV drones on a logging truck in the village of Novy Varin, Bryansk region, one civilian was killed and another was injured. This was announced on August 20 by the governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz.

"The Ukrainian Armed Forces purposefully attacked a logging truck in the village of Novy Varin in the Klimovsky district with FPV drones. Unfortunately, as a result of the terrorist attack, one civilian was killed and another man was injured," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to Bogomaz, the victim was taken to the hospital, where he received all necessary medical care. The governor added that the man will also receive financial support.

On the same day, the governor of the Kherson region reported that as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces strikes on the village of Novaya Zburyevka, three civilians were killed and another was injured. He added that Russian military personnel are conducting a counter-battery struggle.
