When forming a tour in the field of domestic or inbound tourism, it is planned to prohibit the inclusion of hotel services in it, information about which is not included in the register of classified accommodation facilities (maintained by the Ministry of Economic Development). This is stated in the draft law developed by the Ministry of Economic Development (Izvestia has it).

In addition, the ban will also affect the services of guides and translation guides, information about which is not included in the relevant unified federal register. Tour operators will be responsible for violating the ban.

"In the context of increasing demand for organized tourist trips both domestically and abroad, amendments to the federal law On the Fundamentals of Tourism in the Russian Federation will increase the responsibility of professional market participants to consumers, which will have a positive impact on the development of the tourism industry as a whole," the explanatory note to the bill says.
