Sergunina spoke about the interest of foreign partners in Moscow's IT projects
Over the past two and a half years, delegations from 27 countries have become interested in Moscow's digital solutions during business meetings, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.
"Urban projects have attracted the attention of experts from countries such as China, Brazil, India, the United Arab Emirates, and Malaysia," Sergunina said.
Partners from Qatar, Oman, and Saudi Arabia have expressed interest in Moscow's digital twin, which helps authorities make decisions on urban infrastructure development. It represents an accurate photogrammetric model of the capital with all buildings and communications.
Delegations from Algeria, Indonesia, and Ethiopia offered to share their experience in using artificial intelligence. Today, the capital is developing about 100 AI-based developments, including a voice assistant for a citywide contact center and a school service for learning mathematics.
Moscow is also actively strengthening cooperation in the field of digitalization at the level of intergovernmental commissions with experts from Kazakhstan, Malaysia, and Serbia.
According to the deputy mayor, promising Moscow developments have already been presented at more than 100 specialized international events. Past events include major technology exhibitions: Smart Nation Expo in Kuala Lumpur, Gitex Global in Dubai and Smart Cities India Expo in New Delhi.
In June, at the conference "Digital Industry of Industrial Russia", which was held in Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow presented advanced solutions for managing a megacity. Among them is the Mos platform.Tech and laptops with their own operating system and software package.
Last year, the capital received a certificate within the framework of the United Nations international initiative "Joining Forces to Build Smart, Sustainable Cities" for the effective implementation of technologies in various sectors of megacity management.
