In the Moscow region, about 300 sections of roads leading to colleges, kindergartens, schools, gymnasiums, lyceums and technical schools were put in order before the start of the new school year. This was announced by Governor Andrey Vorobyov.

According to him, quoted by the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya, the task of the authorities is to ensure maximum comfort and safety so that children can safely get to school and back, and parents do not worry about them.

The pavement and markings on the road sections have been updated, fences and speed bumps have appeared there. The workers put the sidewalks in order, repaired traffic lights and lighting. Among the landscaped sections are 188 municipal and 98 regional roads, the total length of which is about 390 km. 61 sidewalks were built.

In early August, it was reported that about 50 km of regional roads leading to railway stations had been put in order in the Moscow region. The work was carried out within the framework of the national project. Thus, coverage was updated in 18 districts on 27 road sections. For example, the entrance to the Grivno station was repaired in Podolsk, and the road to the Peski station was repaired in Kolomna. Repairs were also carried out in the region at 22 railway crossings, in particular in Sergiev Posad, Domodedovo and Ramenskoye.
