Blogger Yefremov was charged with financing extremist activities.

Nikita Efremov, a blogger and creator of his own brand of sneakers, was charged with transferring money to an extremist organization banned in Russia. This was reported on August 19 in the press service of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation.

"A criminal case against Nikita Yefremov is under investigation. He is accused of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 282.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Financing extremist activities")," the Telegram channel says.

According to the agency, the blogger opposed the current authorities of the country. From September 2021 to February 2022, he transferred funds to the needs of an extremist organization banned in Russia.

The investigators charged him. The investigation of the criminal case is currently ongoing.
