The show continues: what awaits the media teams in the second round of the Russian Cup

This week, the matches of the second round of the Path of the Regions in the Cup of Russia (1/128 finals) will be held. We will pay special attention to three teams representing the Media Football League: Broken Boys won the right to play in the Russian Cup as a finalist in the sixth season of the Media League, Amkal won the Media League Cup, and 2DROTS was awarded a wild card from the title sponsor of the competition.

All three media teams passed their opponents from professional football in the first round, which caused additional interest in the tournament. It's going to be more difficult, but it's no less interesting.

Amkal

In the first round of the Russian Cup of Regions, Amkal easily passed Obninsk Kvant with a score of 3:1. Former NBA basketball player Pavel Podkolzin will play for Amkal in the upcoming game against Kaluga on August 19. The "Brooks" passed the "Eagle" in the first round and thus activated the option of participating in the next round of the Russian champion in Krasnodar, ex-striker of the Russian national team Fedor Smolov. Dmitry Egorov, President of the Broken Boys, has already officially confirmed Smolov's readiness to play in the second round match of the Path of the Regions against Avangard Kursk on August 21. Egorov said that "Fedya will play for his own pleasure."
