New ski trail to be built in Vladivostok
A modern ski run will be built in Vladivostok. It will appear in an abandoned area near Dzhambula Street.
According to IA PrimaMedia with reference to the city administration, the forest area between the Bogata River and the Saline Bayou has long been a place of recreation for residents, but it needs improvement and infrastructure development.
The initiative belongs to the deputy of the legislative assembly of the region Konstantin Sidenko. Together with the governor Oleg Kozhemyako, the mayor Konstantin Shestakov and specialized specialists, he examined the area. According to the mayor, the appearance of the track will attract athletes, ski enthusiasts and provide an opportunity to conduct physical education classes for schoolchildren.
The governor also supported the initiative. In 2025, the city Department of Physical Education and Sports will begin to prepare design and estimate documentation. The project will be implemented in 2026.
The authorities also plan to continue the improvement of the public territory of "Duck Creek" near the Salt Channel. The first work there began in 2019 thanks to the activists of the Satellite Satellite of Vladivostok and with the support of regional grants.
Earlier it was reported that construction of a road has begun in Vladivostok that will connect the new curling center with the road network. The project provides for the construction of a two-lane road, the construction of sidewalks along the roadway and the installation of a lighting system. Landscaping of the surrounding area is also planned, where landscaping will be carried out and recreation areas with benches will be created.
