The military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Sumy area received an order from Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky to restore positions, regardless of losses. This was reported to RIA Novosti on August 18 by a source in the Russian law enforcement agencies.
"The command of the Sumy operational and tactical group received the task from Syrsky to restore the lost positions in the Sumy region as soon as possible. Regardless of the losses, the enemy threw all available resources into battle," the source said.
