On August 18, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of Russian military personnel in the area of the special military operation (SVO).

The ministry noted the actions of Guard Sergeant Igor Kuzub, who, as part of an assault group, carried out a combat mission to capture a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

Having stealthily approached the enemy firing point, Kuzub, along with his comrades, took an advantageous position, surrounding the enemy stronghold, after which he fired an RPG-7, destroying a machine gun and wounding two Ukrainian militants.

During the assault on the guards, the sergeant, advancing through the trenches, eliminated the enemy. After the Ukrainian Armed Forces retreated, Kuzub's detachment organized the defense of the positions. Thanks to his courageous actions, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation managed to occupy the specified border without losses among the personnel.

In addition, the Russian Defense Ministry drew attention to the actions of Foreman Vladimir Mikhailov, who, as part of the logistics support group, performed the tasks of delivering food and ammunition, as well as evacuating the wounded.

Moving along the route in the back of the car from the field warehouse to the Russian positions, the sergeant noticed the enemy's FPV drone approaching. Accepting a convenient defeat, he destroyed the enemy's drone with a standard-issue rifle.

After that, the foreman's group successfully reached the target point. Thanks to his confident actions, food and ammunition were delivered to the Russian military on time.
