US President Donald Trump intends to first hold a personal meeting with Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky, and then meet with the leaders of the European Union (EU) countries. This was reported on August 17 by the Bild newspaper, citing government sources.

"At first, Trump will accept only the president of Ukraine. Only then will the leading EU politicians accompanying him join him. The program includes a working dinner and an extended hour—long discussion," the publication says.
