At least three people have been killed and eight injured in a shooting at a Brooklyn, New York, restaurant. This was reported by the New York Post (NYP) on August 17.

"Three people were killed and eight injured when several armed men opened fire at a Brooklyn restaurant shortly before it closed," the publication says.

According to the newspaper, the incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. local time (10:30 a.m. Moscow time). Police responded to reports of a shooting at the Taste of the City Lounge bar.

It is specified that all the victims were hospitalized. Law enforcement agencies are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
