Three people were killed and three more injured in an accident involving a passenger bus and two cars in the Tambov region. This was announced on August 17 in the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the region.
"An accident was reported in the Nikiforovsky district. <...> As a result of a passing collision of cars (a passenger bus with one driver in it) and two passenger cars. Six people were injured in the accident, three of them were killed, all adults," the agency said in a Telegram channel message.
It is specified that the accident occurred at night on the 415th kilometer of the R-22 Kaspiy highway. 33 specialists and 11 pieces of equipment from the unified State System of Emergency Prevention and Response (Emergencies), as well as nine people and three pieces of equipment from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation were sent to the scene.
On August 15, the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Omsk region reported two victims in an accident involving three heavy trucks, a bus carrying a football club (FC) team from Tyumen, and a BMW car. The accident occurred at about 17:30 local time (14:30 Moscow time) on the 505th km of the Tyumen– Omsk federal highway.
