Military personnel of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and artillery units from the Novorossiysk Guards Amphibious Assault unit of the Dnepr Group of Forces spoke about the combat work to destroy the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Orekhovsky area of the special operation. The Russian Ministry of Defense publishes footage of their combat work on August 17.

The ministry clarified that the operators of the Orlan-10 and Orlan-30 drones are engaged in detecting prepared enemy fortification positions, including pillboxes and strong points.

The coordinates of the Ukrainian militants are transmitted to the gunners, who in a matter of minutes deploy the gun and defeat the enemy. The operators, in turn, adjust the fire and, if necessary, record the destruction of the AFU targets.

"The advantage of the Eagle is, first of all, its flight range and flight duration. We are working as fast as possible, that is, we find the target, in about five minutes we can hit it," said the UAV operator with the call sign Dokun.
