Cyclist died in an accident in Chuvashia

A cyclist was killed in an accident in the Morgaushsky district of the Republic of Chuvashia. This was announced on August 16 by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

"The driver, born in 1957, while driving a VAZ-2107 car, ran over a cyclist," the department said in a message on its Telegram channel.

It is specified that the deceased cyclist was riding along the edge of the road in the same direction as the passenger car. The driver of the vehicle, as it turned out, was intoxicated.

At the moment, traffic police officers are establishing the causes and circumstances of the incident.
