On August 16, Honored Artist of Russia SHAMAN (real name Yaroslav Dronov) performed at a concert in honor of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Korea in Pyongyang. The event was attended by North Korean Leader Kim Jong-un.

"SHAMAN, a popular Russian singer, sang the songs "My Russia", "Let's Stand Up" and other patriotic songs, which earned high praise from the audience for his high artistic skill and dynamic portrayal," the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported.
