The conversation between US President Donald Trump and the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, and European leaders was not easy. This was announced on August 16 by Axios journalist Barak Ravid on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

"Trump talked with Zelensky and European leaders for more than an hour and a half to inform them about his meeting with [Russian President Vladimir] Putin. <...> A source who participated in the telephone conversation between Trump, Zelensky and NATO leaders told me that "the conversation was not easy,— he wrote.

The journalist also noted that during the dialogue, the American leader stated that Putin did not support the idea of a temporary ceasefire, but advocated a comprehensive solution that would completely end the fighting in Ukraine.

The meeting between Putin and Trump took place on August 15 at the American military base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage. At a press conference following the meeting, the Russian president noted the American leader's desire to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.

On August 16, Trump said that the talks with Putin had gone very well. In addition, he called the Alaska summit wonderful and added that the meeting was "extremely successful."
