A member of the management of the Union of Car Service Stations noted the technical equipment of Trump's limousine

The Cadillac limousine used by the Presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, to travel to the Alaska summit is unique and equipped with special technical means. This opinion was expressed by Ilya Plisov, a member of the management board of the Union of Car Services and Deputy General Director of EuroAuto, in a conversation with Izvestia on August 15.

"Traditionally, any cars that are used by intelligence agencies in any country are absolutely unique. <...> And America can afford a car that is saturated with technology as good as a James Bond car," he said.

He noted that the Cadillac car has served the presidents of the United States for many years. According to Plisov, it has smoke screens, biological and radio protection elements, as well as medical equipment to quickly assist the president. A member of the management of the Union of Car Service Stations is sure that American special services participated in the development of the car.

"I have no doubt that any special service is obliged not only to check the car [of the president] during operation, but also to participate in the process of its creation," Plisov stressed.

He added that the task of engineers in developing such a car is to make it look ordinary, but also to equip it with modern technical means.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that Putin and Trump traveled to the venue of the talks in the same Cadillac One car. The American leader invited the Russian president to travel to the venue in his armored limousine, which is nicknamed The Beast.

The three-on-three talks between Putin and Trump began in Anchorage at about 11:30 local time (22:30 Moscow time). In addition to the Russian leader, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov are present at the meeting.
