The Ministry of Justice has included publicist Mark Solonin in the list of foreign agents.

On August 15, the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation added publicist Mark Solonin to the register of foreign agents. The relevant information is published on the agency's website.

"On August 15, 2025, in accordance with the orders of the Ministry of Justice of Russia, M.Y. Krotov, I.V. Kurmoyarov, I.P. Rudnikov, M.S. Solonin, as well as the Revolt Center association were included in the register of foreign agents," the report says.

It is noted that Solonin disseminated false information about decisions taken by public authorities of the Russian Federation and their policies, as well as false information aimed at creating a negative image of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. He opposed the special military operation and called for the support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). He participated in the distribution of messages and materials of foreign agents to an unlimited number of people.

It is also known that Solonin lives outside of Russia.

On July 18, the Ministry of Justice recognized seven people and the Activatica Internet portal as foreign agents. It is noted that the list includes journalists Ksenia Kirillova and Masha Myers.
