As a result of an explosion at a factory in the Shilovsky district of the Ryazan region, five people were killed and another 100 injured. This was announced by Governor Pavel Malkov on August 15.

"According to preliminary information, five people were killed. More than 100 people were injured, including due to glass fragments," the publication says on the Telegram channel of the head of the Ryazan region.

According to him, all necessary assistance is being provided to the victims. In addition, Malkov noted that he had instructed the head of the municipality to introduce an emergency.
