With the rapid development of technology, "soft skills" such as the ability to predict changes and quickly find innovative solutions will become especially valuable. Vladislav Bykhanov, Managing partner of Cornerstone HR company, told Izvestia on August 17.

According to him, the ability to anticipate developments and act in conditions of uncertainty is becoming crucial for a successful career.

"One of the key changes is the rapid adoption of artificial intelligence (AI). It can significantly speed up data processing, presentation creation, and programming tasks. This means that many standard workflows may soon be automated," the expert said.

According to the expert, telemarketers, proofreaders, historians, as well as service workers such as flight attendants, conductors, sales representatives and PR managers are under attack by automation.

Despite automation, some specialties will remain in demand. For example, couriers are still indispensable — their work requires speed and flexibility, which robots cannot yet cope with. However, the expert predicts that this area will change in a few years.

"As soon as robot couriers can move through city streets just as quickly, the need for human deliverymen will decrease significantly," the expert noted.

The main competitive advantage of a person is emotional intelligence. Professions related to live communication, creativity and making non-standard decisions will not disappear.

The expert emphasizes the importance of developing adaptability, learning ability, and emotional intelligence, as these skills will help professionals stay competitive in the future.

"Technology is changing the world, and success will be achieved by those who can learn quickly and find a common language with people," Bykhanov summed up.

Clinical psychologist Daria Yausheva told Izvestia on July 16 about the syndrome of work overload. According to her, long and frequent business meetings can overload the cognitive system and provoke emotional burnout, it is not in the classifiers of diseases, and the doctor will not diagnose it, but it is quite real and can affect the general condition of a person.
