Law enforcement officers have detained officials involved in the incident at the CHPP-2 in Vladivostok, which resulted in the death of three workers. This was reported on August 15 in the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Primorsky Territory.

"The regional Investigative Committee has detained the head and foreman of the construction and installation site responsible for carrying out repair work at Vladivostok CHPP-2," the department's Telegram channel said.

It clarifies that they are suspected of committing a crime under Part 3 of Article 216 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of safety rules during construction or other work that negligently caused the death of two or more persons").

The day before, the press service of the SU IC of Russia in the Primorsky Territory reported that three workers were killed and two injured in a fall from a height at the TPP-2 in Vladivostok. It was noted that the brickwork collapsed under them.
