Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin prematurely suspended participation in the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Kyrgyzstan on August 15 due to the summit of the Russian Federation and the United States.

"Please excuse me, I need to return to Moscow. You know that a Russian-American summit will be held in Alaska today, with the participation of Presidents Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and Donald Trump," Mishustin said at the end of his speech, quoted by RIA Novosti.

It is specified that the council meeting, which the prime minister attended as part of an official visit, is being held in the city of Cholpon-Ata.
