Kim Jong-un announced the joint opposition of the Russian Federation and North Korea to neo-Nazism

Russia and North Korea are jointly opposing the resurgence of neo-Nazism in the world. This was announced on August 15 by the Chairman of the DPRK, Kim Jong-un, on the occasion of the celebration of the liberation of the country.

"Today, friendly relations with Russia are developing into an alliance with a rich history and strengthening in the common struggle to stop the resurgence of neo—Nazism and protect sovereignty, security and international justice," the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) quoted the chairman as saying.

He also added that the Russian Federation and the DPRK have always been "on the right side of history" and have constantly fought for equality and justice.

KCNA reported on August 13 that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, during a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, assured him of his support for the decisions of the Russian leadership. In addition, during the conversation, they agreed to continue further close contacts.
