A new dormitory for the UIA branch in Apatity will be built for 880 million rubles

In the Murmansk region, a contractor has been identified who will build a new dormitory for the branch of the Murmansk Arctic University (MAU) located in the city of Apatity. This is reported by the Bi-port news agency with reference to the results of the relevant auction on the public procurement portal.

The contract for the construction of the dormitory was awarded to Profmax from Arkhangelsk. She requested about 880.5 million rubles for her work.

The contractor will have to develop a master plan for the building, discuss architectural and design solutions with the customer, who is directly from UIA, and then erect the building.

According to the news agency, it is planned to complete the construction in two years. The completion date in the contract is July 15, 2027, and commissioning is no later than August 20.

In the meantime, the Murmansk UIA campus is also awaiting updates. By 2030, they plan to build a world-class campus worth 14 billion rubles.
