Tula region schools have received six dozen new buses

Educational organizations of the Tula region received 61 school buses. The press service of the regional government announced this on Thursday, August 14.

Buses have been distributed among 57 schools, they will transport more than 1,200 schoolchildren. According to the authorities, the new transport was acquired due to the wear and tear of old cars, as well as the launch of nine new routes.

"Since 2016, 445 buses have already been transferred to schools in the Tula region. There are more than 600 routes that take children from home to schools and back, as well as to venues for competitions, Olympiads, and cultural events," commented Governor Dmitry Milyaev.

In the new academic year, transportation of more than 10 thousand schoolchildren will be organized in the Tula region, TSN24 clarifies. Flights will be operated on 617 routes.
